This Blog has been set up to celebrate class, as well as individual successes for the members of A2. As the year progresses, examples of each child's learning will be added to their Learning Portfolios, located down the right. Term 2 Topic Assessment: Think Like An Astronomer
I am Multistructural because I can list several factors that would be important to consider when planning for life on another planet in the Solar System.
Term 2 Goals: Self Reflection
My literacy Goal was to proof-read my Writing at all times. I am improving at this but still need to find and fix more of my mistakes.
I have achieved my Maths Goal, as I have learnt all of the times tables on our class chart.
I have achieved my Sports/ Cultural goal as i know all of the kupu for our Waiata.
I have achieved my responsibility goal as my uniform is tidy but I need to take care of uniform instead of leaving clothes at school.
Term 2 Goals Self Assessment
My Literacy
Goal was to read at home every night which I am achieving. I am improving my
inference skills but still need to work on this.
My Numeracy
Goal was to find the location of objects using co-ordinates , which I can do
easily.
I still need
to focus on learning all of my times tables.
My Sport/
Cultural goal was to improve my rugby skills and to train hard for the Cross
Country. I am improving my rugby skills because I can pass to the left now, and
I trained hard for the Cross Country.
My
Responsibility Goal was to look after my uniform which I think I am achieving.
I still need to be at the right place at the right time.
Term 2 Goals Self Reflection
My Literacy
Goal was to use the Proof Reading pencil to edit my work, but I need to do this
independently.
My Numeracy
Goal was to learn my 3 times tables.
I can recite
the 3 times tables up to 3x8 so I still need to learn the others and be able to
use them to solve Maths problems.
My Sport/
Cultural goal was to improve my hockey skills which I feel I have done, as I
got player of the day and am getting better at shooting.
My Values
goal was to look after the Junior children
in the playground and I think I am doing well with this.
